These surgical stainless steel bone cutting and removal instruments are of the same shape as the implant. These drills cut the bone hole for the specific size implant that they match: 3.5mm, 4.0mm and 4.5mm. The partial rings (they will appear complete as the drill rotates) on the cutting surface of each of the drills denotes the depth or length of the cut into the bone i.e., 11, 13, and 15mms which will correspond to the three lengths of implants currently available from B.A.S.I.C. These drills feature contra-angle with latch attachment, cooling flutes, internal irrigation capabilities, and should be rotated slowly down the pilot hole pathway (400 RPM) in an up and down manner with copious amounts of irrigation solution for cooling and debris removal.
