The Implant Drivers are stainless steel instruments of two
lengths to allow better operator access to implant placement
area. They are specifically designed to carry and begin
placement of the sterilized implant into the created implant
hole without contamination. This unique design holds the
implant securely, via the implant hex recess. As it is moved
from the sterile package to the osteotomy site, it drives
the implant first with gloved fingers and next with the
supplied wrench and then is easily disengaged from the finally
seated implant by using a slight rocking motion and unseating
pressure. These drivers also feature a securing O-ring for
safe attachment to the wrench and a breakaway groove that
precludes over tightening the implant into the bone.
