The Lab Analog is specifically designed to replicate the exact position and exact external and internal anatomy of the chosen implant for the laboratory. The body of the analog is distinguished by undercuts and anti-rotational grooves and comes in the three-implant diameters: 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5mm. After an impression is taken with the transfer device, the lab will seat the correct diameter analog onto the transfer device so that a model may be poured up that exactly replicates the implant top and internal hex as it is in the mouth site.
