The Healing Cap placed through the Emergence Profiler before pressure fitting into the implant. This contours the soft tissue to obtain a more natural emergence profile on esthetic cases. Emergence Profilers are manufactured out of Delrin and come in the same diameters as the implants: 3.5mm, 4.0mm, 4.5mm. While they can be used exactly as they are, modification of the emergence profilers for a custom emergence profile is easily accomplished.
