The screw retained post and core was developed for clinicians who liked the simplicity of the Basic Dental Implant system, but still wanted a higher degree of retrievability than the cemented post and core allowed. This component is screwed into place with a special driver included in the placement instruments. If required, this component can be easily modified for proper draw and occlusion.

Waxing Sleeve

The waxing sleeve simplifies the work of the laboratory technician. It is designed to fit over the screw post and core and can easily be modified, shaped, and waxed-to to create an ideal metal support for a fixed prosthesis. See the Laboratory Restorative Options for detailed instructions on the use of this component. Using an impression coping, the position of the Screw Post and Core is given to the laboratory.

Lab Analog

The Screw Post and Core comes with a lab analog which precisely replicates the shape and position of the patient's post and core for the construction of a prosthesis.

A crown is fabricated and cemented directly to the component.

This item is sold separately and is not a part of the implant strip. See Laboratory Restorative Options for detailed instructions on the use of this component.
